Associated
Consulting Group was formed in 1988 by members of the internal audit
department of a major life insurance company.
While working
on assignments at various insurance subsidiaries, it became clear
to them that a large number of errors were occurring in the processing
of ceded life reinsurance. These errors caused a drain on the profit
of these companies and were not readily detected by any standard
audit test.
Thinking that
other life insurance companies might benefit from their experience
and knowledge, the group formed ACG and began to offer their services
as consultants to the life insurance field.
Since its inception,
ACG has performed over 120 reviews for companies ceding
and retro-ceding life business, with positive results in each engagement.
All work is
performed on a contingent fee arrangement, with ACG being responsible
for all costs of travel and lodging associated with this review.
